If you are a bird game lover and have tried a lot of games featuring birds in a hope to find an engaging and interesting game. Cweeture jump from WeeWorld brings a simple yet challenging game which can keep you hooked for hours together on your iPhone. The game features Peter, the griffin a half eagle and half lion like character. The player launches the cweeture as high as possible in an effort to make as many as points by collecting gems, coins, bonuses and smashing platforms. But it’s not all about collecting items; the player also needs to keep an eye on the clock. The special bonuses will help you stay in the game for even longer and score well. There are launch pads on the way so even if the cweeture loses the momentum just land him there and he will be pushed up for each jump. As you gain levels you can see various varieties of launch pads. Another bonuses are the hourglasses which boost your life by ten seconds, so don’t let peter miss one! Be aware that if your cweeture is not collecting enough coins and fails to land on the launch pad you will drop down and lose. So make sure Peter gets the momentum on the go. The Rubies give Peter a quick boost while Diamonds are just like nitro boost giving you a super speed. So you need to be careful that you pick them at regular intervals to reach higher before the time ends. Each time you achieve a high score it gets added to your game-center account allowing to set new targets for fellow gamers. You can also share your high scores via twitter and facebook and let your buddies know about your achievements and high scores. Cweeture Jump comes with a smooth and colourful graphics, the animations are good and the backgrounds include day and night graphics. The developer plans to add new cweetures in the next update to give the users more options for the game play. And the iOS4 app updates just keep on coming. We’re finding more and more by the day. Whether it’s adding support for the iPhone 4′s awesome retina display or taking advantage of new APIs within iOS4, we’re still watching for them. Here’s the ones we found this time around, and as always, if you see any we missed, be sure to let us know in the comments! Readdle is an incredibly easy to use app that allows you to not only view all kinds of files right on your iPhone, but also allows you to manage and save attachments. It’s one of the better apps we’ve found to handle documents, not to mention reasonably priced. Not only did Readdle’s newest update add multitasking support, it also adds support for USB file transfer through iTunes. Better yet, you can now save attachments via the Mail app. [iTunes Link] WeeMee is an incredibly cool app that allows you to create your own avatars on the fly. (I bet all of you could have guessed who the above avatar was without a name attached!) It’s a great time killer and an awesome way to express yourself on Twitter or whatever social medium you choose. This update fixed a couple bugs found in their initial iOS4 update. It also adds tons of in-app purchases to choose from. If you decide to check it out, let us know! If you need a hardcore math application that can handle any formula or calculation you throw at it, Wolfram Alpha is definitely for you. Leanna reviewed this app a while back and had good things to say about it. I don’t know nearly as much about math as she does, so coming from her, you know it’s decent. I use this app for easy to semi-complicated formulas and it’s always performed incredibly well. This update adds support for the iPhone 4′s retina display as well as optimized images. It also adds multitasking support for fast app switching. Trism is a long time favorite on the iPhone platform. It was released not long after the app store initially launched and it’s still a favorite of mine. It takes a newer approach on puzzle games like Tetris. This version of Trism adds HD puzzle pieces to support the iPhone 4′s retina display. So if you’re in the mood for a game that never gets old and never ends, Trism is Read More
Bored of using your personal photograph on your social networking site? Or seeing your friend’s mug on your caller ID when he calls? WeeWorld’s WeeMee Avatar Creator can do the trick. WeeMee characters are familiar if you’re a fan of WeeWorld’s avatar based social site for games and connecting with others on the web. They pretty much resemble characters out of South Park and now, with a newly released iPhone app, you too can have one of your own. Avatar creation is pretty simple. You get to choose from male and female templates and have customizing options for your appearance, clothing, and environment settings. The fun part is obviously in the creativity and accessorizing of your WeeMee to reflect your personality and appearance. Luckily, there is a lot to choose from and the app’s developer promises even more with future updates. Once your avatar is completed, you can save your creation to the in app gallery, to your photo album or assign them to your iPhone’s contact list. A minor gripe is there is no option to share directly with your favorite social networking sites but you can always import them later on. For less than the cost of cheeseburger, you can now show off your personality and have some fun sprucing up your contacts list. Read More

Those fine folks at WeeWorld need to add in the essential Steve Jobs wardrobe items to this app so iPhone faithful can easily create Dear Leader at will. The good news is that you definitely won't suffer from buyers remorse snatching up this app for a buck. It delivers on its promise, pandering to the avatar obsessed with a well thought out concept for both iPhone and iPod touch OS 2.2 or later. Count me in as a brand new card carrying member of the Wee generation. I'm not afraid to stand up and show the world my Weeness. That's the bad news. Read More

**WIN A COPY COMPLETELY FREE. Find out after the jump!** There’s been some good avatar creators on the AppStore and IMA LET YOU FINISH, but this app is the BEST avatar creator for the iPhone… EVER! smallMEDIUM is back with their cool little fancy app that does nothing but creating avatars and making use of them in an EPIC way. This time around, they brought the WeeWorld team to bring the funkiest, grooviest and the best looking avatar generator for our device! WeeWorld-ization of Avatar Creator 2 Avatar Creator 2 if you may remember is one of the first app-apps we reviewed on the site. The super painless and organized way of customizing avatars, putting them into poses, choosing backgrounds and assigning them to contacts made us fall in love with the app. Now here’s where WeeWorld comes to play. I guess it’s some epi-cly big social gaming/network site where you talk to different people. You are also judged through your avatar. If you have a cool avatar, you must be cool! Much of the look and feel of the WeeWorld.com avatars are replicated effortlessly in this app. How To Make Avatars When you first open the app, you get three choices: male or female WeeMee OR open gallery which takes you to some pre-downloaded avatars you can start customizing with. Let’s just say we want to start from scratch by selecting a male WeeMee. You then get a “naked” WeeMee. The first thing you can customize is what body shape your avatar’s going to be. Tip: though all WeeMee’s are “short”, bellies hang up through your clothes if you select the “bigger” body sizes. From here on out, you can swipe the topmost bar to select between the avatar parts you can customize like: eyes, nose, mouth etc. The bar below it is for the actual items you can shuffle through. Once you’ve completed your avatar, you can either just save it to your gallery, save it to your camera roll or even assign it to a contact STRAIGHT from the app! How awesome is that. If you want to access saved avatars, why not click on the “Gallery” tab and see what happens?! Suggestion How about incorporating a simple chat box connected through your WeeWorld account? That’d be awesome and I think people would love to pay more money for that! Conclusion I’ve seen a million avatar creators both Read More
There are quite a few applications in the app store that allow you to create your own avatar. However, some are just simply a waste of time. WeeMee Avatar Creator is definitely one of the better apps out there. Its simple interface and descent package of items allows the user to quickly create a great looking avatar to save to the photo library or assign to a contact. However, there is certainly room for improvement. My favorite part about WeeMee is also my biggest criticism. It’s very easy to create an avatar using this application. However, at the same time it may be a bit too easy. You can create plenty of avatars to assign to the contacts in your phone. However, you will quickly run out of combinations, making you hope for more updates to add items and features. There really are a ton of options available to you when creating your avatar. You start off with a naked WeeMee (with underwear on). You can change the skin tone, head shape, weight, eye color, facial emotion and hairstyle. After that, you’ll spend more of your time adding accessories and a background. You can choose any of these options by simply swiping left or right across the screen. If the color can be changed, a small icon will appear that, when tapped on, will display a drop down list of colors to choose from. The color pallets always show only reasonable colors for that selection. For example, you won’t see orange when choosing a color for skin. So, unfortunately, you can’t make your WeeMee look like the blue characters from the movie, Avatar. One negative in the WeeMee creation process is the fact that every feature you select is automatically placed where the app thinks it should be placed. So, you can’t move the eyes around to make them closer together or wider apart. When selecting an accessory item, you can’t move it around to where you’d like it to be and there are no zoom or resize capabilities. Everything has an exact spot and a predefined size and orientation. These restrictions are fine if you want to quickly create an avatar, but are frustrating if you’d like to spend some time to really make the WeeMee look exactly the way you want it to look. After you’ve created your avatar, you can save it to your WeeMee gallery. From there, Read More
Browsing the App Store this weekend? Here are eight new or updated apps worth taking a closer look at if you are: This is a voice-powered virtual assistant, who leads you through conversational questions to find the answer to whatever you have asked it…or is it him…or her. Not only can it make reservations and the like, but it’ll learn things about your life, likes and dislikes! Driven by location and best operated on an iPhone 3GS in the USA, think of it as stage 2 of what Google started with their voice-search, or the first steps towards Star Trek’s computer. The latest entry into the Assassin’s Creed franchise, this time charting Ezio’s exploits in Spain. Spread over 36 levels, this is a fast sideways-scrolling action adventure. The goal of this GPS-based game is to simply search for items located around your local area. There are, unsuprisingly, 1000 items to find and the game can be played either using GPS maps or within a gaming world, each offering a different play experience. There is a lot to this game, so give it a try. It’s Twitter for sports fans, as you ‘follow’ sports teams and receive updates on games and scores. The small updates are easy to digest and can be pushed to your phone, while the app also gives information on upcoming events and the opportunity to chat with your friends. If you’re happy to hand your iPhone over to your kids, then they will love to make a monster friend with Elmo! Create the monster, watch him dance, see him play along with Elmo and then save a photo in the iPhone’s album. WeeWorld is still a popular website and as is usual these days, it has now gained an iPhone App. You can now create your WeeMee avatars on the move from around 250 different items and then send them by email or MMS, or post them on Facebook and Twitter. Follow this year’s Oscar coverage with Vanity Fair magazine, plus you can ‘vote’ for your own Oscar winners inside the app. Your predictions can be published on social networks and you can even have a flutter by organising a group bet, if you’re feeling confident that is. So, you’ve got a collection of ingredients, but have no idea whether they could be used together to create an actual meal. Wonder no longer, as after you have told Read More
