Pushme.to ($2.99 -> Free): A messaging service that provides you with your own web page or Facebook widget from which anyone can send text or pictures for free to the app.  Received messages can be accessed and managed via the app or web interface as well. Pushme.to is available for free for a limited time.  It currently has a four-star rating. Befuddled: Core Edition ($.99 -> Free): A word game that features power-ups and relaxing gameplay.  This Core Edition features ads at first and is limited in features, but the more you play the more you unlock.  Eventually if you play enough the ads will completely go away, and you will receive more game options. Befuddled: Core Edition is available for free today only (6/3). The game has a three-and-a-half-star rating. Shark Tale ($.99 -> Free): A simple matching game where you must remove eggs from the board by tapping two-like colors.  A single egg can remove up to three other eggs, which will give you a bonus.  The game also features two different modes. Shark Tale is available for free for an undisclosed amount of time.  Oddly enough, it has a perfect five-star rating. Octo’s Tales 2 ($.99 -> Free): A simple tap-shooting game where you must help the octopus survive as long as possible by destroying enemy fire.  The game features four different game modes, including multiplayer. Octo’s Tales 2 is available for free for an undisclosed amount of time.  The game has a three-star rating. Soccer Sudoku 2010 ($.99 -> Free): A soccer inspired Sudoku game.  Play as one of the 32 teams participating in the World Cup and solve Sudoku puzzles.  You can play a relaxing game, a timed game, or a challenging game to move up the ranks. Soccer Sudoku 2010 is available for free for an undisclosed amount of time.  The game doesn’t currently have a rating.  You can change that! Check out Treebune’s Pushme.to Lite, a free messenger app that enables you to send free text and MMS messages whether you’re in North America or abroad. is free and ad supported. There’s a paid version for $2.99 without ads. Here’s how it works. Install the app on your iPhone or iPod touch, register for the Pushme.to service using a nickname and you be able to receive from and send to messages and images to anyone else who has installed the app on their device. You can also receive messages from anyone sent via the Pushme.to Web site. All the sender has to do is enter their message at http://pushme.to/nickname. One nifty feature: You can install a widget on your site, blog or on Facebook and senders can reach you with a simple mouse click. In either case, there’s no requirement for the sender to register. To receive messages, you can either open the app or be alerted using Push Notification when the app is closed. By the way, you’ll need to have installed OS 3.0 and enabled Push Notification. L’unica differenza dall’applicazione a pagamento [iTunes Link - 2,39€] è la presenza di banner pubblicitari, che non danno molto fastidio, che possono essere tolti comprando la versione definitiva tramite InApp-Purchase. If you don’t, Pushme.to is an app/web platform that provides you with your own web page (pushme.to/nickname) from which anybody can send you text messages in the form of push notifications. It then lets you manage those from the app or the web. Well, it just got an update and now also lets you push pictures. It works from the web interface as well as from the app directly. Furthermore, its developer has just finished prepping a Facebook widget for it which should be available any time now at http://pushme.to/fbapp .
