11/10/2011 NoteMaster, by iPhoneAppReviews.net

Michael (Admin) | Nov 10, 2011 User rating: (No Ratings Yet)  Loading ... NoteMaster ($3.99) by Kabuki Vision, LLC Available on iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad I had NoteMaster on my iPhone for a long time before I ever found a use for it. I’m not a big note-taker, but when I decided to start a small business last year I found myself using NoteMaster all the time! The crappy default Notes app that comes bundled with iOS is fine for jotting down an occasional address or whatever, but when you need to keep information organized NoteMaster is definitely the way to go. It lets you add photos to notes, it syncs with Google docs, it does several different kinds of lists, it lets you categorize notes… it really does it all. $3.99 may seem like a lot to pay for a notes app, but if you’re constantly keeping records and tallies, or if you’re just super anal retentive, it’s a small price to pay to stay organized and have all of your info easily accessible. I’m used to scrolling through page after page after page in Apple’s default app while I search for something I jotted down months ago, but NoteMaster’s categories and search capability make life way easier. 05/31/2011 Apple Announces iWorks Apps Available for iPhone/iPod Touch, by ReadWriteWeb

Apple is extending it suite of productivity apps further down its mobile device chain today, announcing that its iWorks applications will be available for the iPhone and iPod Touch. That means that Keynote, Pages and Numbers are now available to a huge number of users outside of Mac and iPad owners. At $9.99 each and available through the App Store, Apple should be able to make a tidy sum off of its productivity apps. The apps will be available to third and fourth generation iPod Touch owners and iPhone 3GS/4 users. iWorks was one of the original suites of applications available on the iPad. Keynote is a presentation tool that has made it onto the floor of the senate and conference stages across the world. Pages is Apple's attempt at a mobile word processor and Numbers is the spreadsheet app for iOS devices. If you do not feel like dropping $9.99 per iWorks app, there are alternatives, though none quite of the quality of the Apple's native apps. Google Docs is available through the mobile browser. There are cheaper options such as GoDocs for iPhone/iPad available in the App Store for $4.99 and NotesMaster for $3.99 (with a free lite version available). A good word processor application for iPad is iA Writer, which goes for the nice low price of $.99. Those who own iWorks applications on the iPad can extend the functionality to their other iOS devices for free. New users will have to pay. "Now you can use Keynote, Pages and Numbers on iPhone and iPod touch to create amazing presentations, documents and spreadsheets right in the palm of your hand," said Philip Schiller, Apple's senior VP of Worldwide Product Marketing in the press release. "The incredible Retina display, revolutionary Multi-Touch interface and our powerful software make it easy to create, edit, organize and share all of your documents from iPhone 4 or iPod touch." 03/12/2010 Smooth out your shaky videos with Smooth Movie for iPhone 3GS, by Top iPhone News

Mar 12 iPhone News   2:28 pm      (0) Comments App developer Kabuki Vision has solved the problem of shaky iPhone videos with the release of Smooth Movie 1.0 for the iPhone 3GS. Smooth Movie analyzes shaky videos and applies an image stabilization algorithm to the frames, resulting in a much smoother movie. After processing, the smoothed movie can be saved to the iPhone’s photo album for future viewing, emailing, or uploading. Smooth Movie is the first and only video stabilization app available on the app store. “Traditionally, you would need to the power of a desktop computer to perform this kind of video smoothing”, says Adam Shaw, founder of Kabuki Vision. “Now with the speed and power of the iPhone 3GS, videos can be smoothed right on the device itself, which is much more convenient”. The app features a streamlined interface which allows anyone to get started with smoothing their shaky videos right away. Additionally, Smooth Movie offers three levels of smoothing quality, so even the shakiest of videos can be processed. Example movies that have been processed with Smooth Movie can be viewed on the Kabuki Vision web site. No comments yet. Read More
